Twenty-five students from 4CK and two of their teachers enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Ireland from May 16 to 23.

The journey began with a bus ride to the west coast, where the group stayed at a hostel in Galway, a charming, lively gateway to the breathtaking landscapes of Connemara National Park. There, the students hiked to the top of Diamond Hill, taking in panoramic views under a surprisingly blue, un-Irish sky. The following day, they visited the Burren, home to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, one of Irland’s most iconic natural wonders.

The group then traveled to Bray, where they stayed with host families and attended a language course. There they were finally introduced to the famous Irish weather – a mixture of sunshine, rain, warmth, and a chill, all in a single afternoon.

On Ireland’s east coast, the students enjoyed a guided tour of Dublin, explored Malahide Castle, where they were given an insight into the history of the castle’s former owners, the Talbot family, and visited the EPIC museum in Dublin an interactive and engaging experience, focusing on Irish history and culture

Throughout the trip, the students were frequently praised for their good manners and behaviour by hostel staff, bus drivers, and guides alike, their parents and teachers seem to have done a good job.
